  • As far as students or schools are concerned, no participation fee or proof of purchase of any product or service was required to participate in the contest.
Participating schools had to give us an ‘intention of participation’ in writing on the school letterhead.
Posters and banners of supporting companies announcing the contest was put up at strategic locations in participating schools for a minimum period of 7 days.
  • Eligibility: The contest was open to children in 2 class groups, viz. Classes 3 – 5 & Classes 6 – 8.
  • Participants' identity: A participation form had to be mandatorily filled up by each participant. The form was available with the school authorities atleast 3 days prior to the intra-school contest. The form could be taken back home and the filled in form was returned to the school authorities prior to the date of the intra-school contest in school.
Venue: The intra-school championship was held at the school premises.
  • Date: The dates for the intra-school contest was decided by the school authorities.
Participating students had to procure their own Hard Baked Clay Thali (Plate) of approx 10” diameter. The said piece of pottery was easily available at about Rs.3 - 5 a piece. Drawing/ Coloring material had to be procured by the participants.
Topics (Intra-School round): For the intra-school round of the contest, the suggested topic was TIGER. Schools announced the topic to participants 6 – 10 days prior to the event.
  • Each participant had to draw/ paint on the Clay Pottery at school in a maximum of 2 hours on the dates decided by the school authorities. The contest could be held in the school over 2 or more days.
  • Schools were not allowed to conduct the intra school round of the contest without informing us in writing of the exact date(s) and time. Representative(s) from the supporting brands were present at the schools while the contest was in progress in the school.
  • The first 4 participants from each of the class groups (viz. Classes 3 – 5 and Classes 6 – 8) were ranked by the school authorities after the intra-school round of the contest.
